2024 BMW 7-Series Specs, Redesign and Release Date – BMW aims to solidify its reputation as a high-performance luxury car manufacturer in 2024 with the addition of the first full-size M performance-badge version of the 7 series.
2024 BMW 7-Series Design and Specs
The 2024 BMW 7-Series is not as bold as some of its contemporaries, but this may be the topic. It is a typically sized luxury sedan, that is, it is majestic, not really elegant. Its exterior is beautiful and reserved, while its interior is another story. It earns 8 out of 10 on our style-o-meter. From the outside, the BMW 7-Series relies on the proportions of the rear drive of the sedan with a long hood punctuated with folds that extend from the nose to the cabin.

On the sides, a belt line rises from the front fender and elegantly wraps around the rear and its rear lights. Predictably, the M760i with V-12 engine has masculinities (if there are so many) with exhaust pipes and a front muscular bumper. BMW’s dual-generation twin grid on the 7 Series is larger and larger than the other models that carry the new nose, especially the new 5 series.
The 7 series also shares its interior style with the 5 series, but not as flashy. While the mid-sized sedan can wear more contrasting suits, the 7 Series is a primarily subordinate affair with richer colors and a toner feel to the interior trim materials. Most sedans will be wrapped in vast expanses of leather, with customizable shades if your pockets are deep and your arms are long enough. In the executive-sized sedans, the rear seats are deep and very comfortable, loyal to their mission to be a wild and luxurious limousine.
2024 BMW 7-Series Engine and Drivetrain
These power figures put the final variant of the 7 Series on an equal basis with the Audi S8 Plus, but Benz still has this segment with the S 65 AMG whose own V12 comes out 621 horsepower and 738 lb-ft.
The 750i xDrive and 750Di xDrive, powered by a 4.4L turbocharged V8, are suitable for 445 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque.

There is also the hybrid 740Le plug-in model that combines a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a combined electric motor for 326 hp and 369 lb.-ft. and a 45 km electric range on a full load.
There is also the Alpina B7, an extra-special version of the 7 series customized by tuning house Alpina which was previously the only variant to use a V12 engine.
