2024 BMW X2 Rumors, Price, Specs, Release Date, Redesign. BMW will expand its impressive lineup of high-riding models with the new flagship X7 while the X2 model will fill the gap between the entry-level X1 and X3 crossovers. BMW hinted this model with the BMW X2 concept car presented at the 2025 Paris Motor Show.
2024 BMW X2: DESIGN
The base of the new 2024 BMW X2 will be the same traverse-engine, front-wheel-drive UKL platform that also underpins the X1 and new Minis. This architecture also allows all-wheel drive configuration.
On the other hand, the X2 will be more aggressively styled than the X1 but it won’t be as much aggressive as the striking concept. The model will show the close resemblance to the X2 Concept car but will come to the production without of some fancy details and with toned downlines.

The split kidney grille and headlights will have the very similar shape as on the concept car and model will sport more aggressive front bumper than the X1. For the sportier appearance, the model will feature fastback profile and smaller rear overhang than the Bavarian entry-level crossover. It will also have a sportier rear bumper than the X1.
INTERIOR, FEATURES:
The model will feature floating center display and BMW’s familiar AC vents. BMW will, of course, offer the long list of available luxuries and safety systems but for more details, we will have to wait for mode’s debut probably this September.
2024 BMW X2: POWERTRAIN
Like its base structure, the new 2024 BMW X2 should also use the same engine options as the X1 model. For the buyers in the US that means a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine which also sits under the hood of the Mini lineup. This engine can produce 228 horsepower in the X1 but the X2 could get a more powerful version.

BMW will link this engine to the eight-speed automatic transmission and this powerful hardware should push the X2 until 60 mph in just above 6 seconds.
On the other hand, on the Old Continent, BMW will offer this model with more engine options including the diesel units. The M performance version is possible for both markets.
2024 BMW X2: RELEASE DATE, PRICE
The 2024 BMW X2 will likely go on sale early next year. The premiere could be at the next Frankfurt Motor Show. The estimated base price is from about $38, 000.
