2024 BMW X5 Redesign, Release Date, Price, Engine. Apparently, the next generation of the BMW X5 will hit the roads earlier than it was with the previous generations. The typical seven-year lifespan is now reduced to five years and the 2024 BMW X5 will be the fourth-generation entry. The prototype of the upcoming X5 was spotted on several occasions with the thin camouflage which hides most of details but it is obvious that new X5 will feature more dynamic exterior design.
2024 BMW X5: POWERTRAINS
Depending on the market, the 2024 BMW X5 will arrive with the new versions of the 4-, 6- and 8-cylinder engines. We should also expect the M performance version to follow the regular version. The plug-in hybrid is also in the plan.

BMW hasn’t said what level of improvement in performance and efficiency would new engines provide. The twin-turbo V-8 would likely stay around 445 hp but BMW might add a new entry four-cylinder engine option.
2024 BMW X5: LARGER BUT LIGHTER AND MORE AGGRESSIVE-LOOKING
Judging by the contours hidden under the thin layer of camo, the new 2024 BMW X5 will sport more dynamic appearance than the ongoing version. The new X5 will also have a more sculpted tailgate and dual exhaust outlets in the rear bumper.
The basis of the new X5 is a modular CLAR platform that debuted on the 7-Series sedan. Despite the X5 will be slightly larger, modern design of the platform will make it lighter.
INTERIOR, ELECTRONICS:
Interior of the model will also experience makeover. The more comfortable ride will be provided thanks to the larger body. The cabin design will also feature refreshed materials and trims but familiar horizontal-oriented dash design and other aspects won’t stray far from the current version and BMW’s vehicle line.
The new generation X5 will also get upgraded infotainment system and its features but BMW should also follow the latest trends in the safety aspect. BMW will, of course, equip this model with loads of comfort enchantments and other luxuries but more we will know closer to model’s debut.
