    Under the hood of the 2024 Dodge Durango will be found three types of engines depending on a trim level. The RWD model gets 19/26 mpg while the AWD model is rated at 18/25 mpg in the city/highway.

    The next option is a 5.7-liter V-8 engine which is able to produce 360 horses and 390 pound-feet of torque. As for the fuel economy, this unit is estimated to be 14 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway.

    The SRT model is equipped with a 6.4-liter V-8 powertrain which has the output of 475 horses and 470 pound-feet of torque. This engine comes with all-wheel drive layout as standard. It gets 13 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway. All the engines are linked to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

    Release date and price

    We can not say for sure when we can expect the newest 2024 Dodge Durango. It might be sometime during next year. The price is not yet revealed but it could be slightly higher than the current model which starts at around $32,000.
