2024 Honda Jazz Review, Concept, Redesign, and Price. New 2024 Honda Jazz is a subcompact hatchback that comes with an attractive design and modern appearance. Called Fit in the U.S., Jazz will arrive once again. This time, with some drastic changes. According to the latest reports, this hatchback could get its first Type R variant. There is a small chance to see Jazz Type R in the next one year.
The fourth-gen Fit has been introduced in 2025 at the Tokyo Motor Show. For that reason, we are surprised that Honda will provide more updates on the 2024 model. If the rumors are correct, we won’t see this hatchback in the United States anymore.
ENGINE AND SPECS
Ford is perhaps one of the first carmakers that prove the three-cylinder engines are a perfect fit for small hatchbacks. The three-cylinder turbo is a good solution if you want to avoid four-cylinder outputs. A 1.5-liter with 130 horsepower and 128 lb-ft of torque is available. The 2024 Honda Jazz provides more than solid power and we could also see a more potent and optional engine. According to various reports, new Jazz could pack 268 hp and 272 lb-ft of twisting power.
No doubts, with these figures, Jazz will easily beat competitors from Toyota and Ford. Regular engine delivers 40 mpg on the highway which is the highlight of this three-cylinder displacement. Jazz will use a CVT automatic transmission, along with the front-wheel-drive system. The performance isn’t impressive at all, but ride quality and fuel efficiency are superb.
EXTERIOR FACELIFT
Far, renderings are available and 2024 Honda Jazz could look very attractive. Whatsoever, more handsome than its predecessor. For a start, Jazz looks hotter and more aggressive. The front bumper will suffer small modifications and we will be seeing larger air intakes. This hatchback should gain small changes in terms of styling while the platform will largely remain.
Thanks to that, Jazz won’t suffer dimensional changes. Honda will also provide new optional wheels and small rear upgrades. That includes a new pair of taillights and possibly the same treatment on the rear bumper.
2024 JAZZ TYPE R
First of all, there are small chances of this happening. The 2024 Honda Jazz Type R is looking promising and it adds a much-needed sporty vibe. Subcompact hatchback will gain brand-new lip spoiler and the side profile will host additional carbon fiber materials. Sportier multi-spoke wheels and lower stance are visible at first glance.
On the inside, Honda will offer a new steering wheel, sporty seats, and new upholstery. Contrast stitching and Type R badges will surely make the production. Under the bonnet, this hatchback could deploy a two-motor hybrid system. On the other hand, there is no official confirmation and exact specs are still not available.
2024 HONDA JAZZ PRICE AND RELEASE DATE
The upcoming 2024 Honda Jazz will become available later this year. The most likely release date is around November. The price will start slightly below $20,000 for this small hatchback. If it happens, Jazz Type R will cost around $25,000. Now, the Jazz model is available in the U.S. as Honda Fit. We won’t be seeing this subcompact hatch in North America from now on.
