The 2024 Hyundai Kona Electric will offer two different outputs. That means both standard and optional engine can be mated to an electric motor and the battery pack. Electric model will deliver 292 miles on a single charge and both outputs will produce over 200 lb-ft of torque. The performances are much better and Kona will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 7.5 seconds.
2024 Hyundai Kona Offers Sleeker and Aerodynamic Look
The 2024 Hyundai Kona will arrive with very minor upgrades. Gasoline and diesel models are the same, but Kona Electric will slightly depart. The Electric model doesn’t need an open grille for engine cooling. Speaking of the 2024 Kona Electric, the model was caught on camera, doing road testing.
From the images, we can see a sleeker and more aerodynamic look. The grille, we can see a new set of wheels and a larger front bumper. LED headlights and taillights are in the offer and Hyundai will introduce new exterior colors such as Pulse Red, Ceramic Blue, and Galactic Gray. The two-tone roof paint scheme is also available and it optional.
2024 Hyundai Kona Interior Upgrades
The interior of the all-new 2024 Hyundai Kona will look the same as on the current model. That includes already present 7-inch touchscreen, dual USB charging ports, and other standard features. The biggest upgrade will happen in the safety department. Kona now offers more standard advanced safety features.
That includes lane-keep assist, blind spot monitoring and driver-attention warning. The current Kona already won the Top Safety Pick+ award and the new model will be even safer. Some of the optional features are now standard and that is it when it comes to upgrades for 2024. Kona Electric will offer a slightly different and better interior. A 10.25-inch display is available and the center stack is wider.
2024 Hyundai Kona Price and Release Date
The base Kona model will start at around $26,000. The 2024 Hyundai Kona Electric won’t cost below $30,000. The all-new crossover SUV will hit the markets in the second half of 2025. Hyundai promised eight crossovers in 2024.
