2024 Land Rover Evoque: Review, Rumors, Redesign, and Specs. The compact-sized Land Rover Evoque started the second generation for the 2024 model year based on the new platform, larger, more stylish, more comfortable, techier and powered by the turbocharged or mild-hybrid powertrain. The newest Evoque is again available in various trim options and model introduced also some new systems like ClearSight Ground View and Adaptive Dynamics system.
Following the recent redesign, the 2024 Land Rover Evoque doesn’t have much room for improvements and the changes should just be in the equipment organization. No signs that new powertrain option will appear but Range Rover might bring a new uniquely styled version and new color options. The Evoque will stay in current form until the mid-cycle update.
2024 Land Rover Evoque Performance
The 2024 Land Rover Evoque will keep up with the same powertrains in the new model year.
A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder will be under the hood of all versions producing 246 hp and torque of 269 pound-feet. The R-Dynamic version will add a 48-volt mild-hybrid system to this engine increasing the output to 296 hp and 295 pound-feet of torque. In every combination, the turbocharged engine will be in pair with the ZF 9-speed automatic transmission.
The Evoque will also employ Range Rover’s sophisticated AWD system which can distribute the power between the front and rear wheels, lock the rear wheels and perform torque vectoring.
The model will also use MacPherson struts for the front setup and integral rear link at the rear. Available will be an adaptive suspension. The Evoque will also exploit Adaptive Dynamics system which detects the road conditions every 100 milliseconds and makes corrections to the dampers’ settings to provide optimal ride quality.
As for the fuel economy, the Evoque should score 20 mpg city, 27 mpg highway or 23 combined. Adding the mild-hybrid setup won’t improve things and while the city ride will gain 1 mpg the highway rating will drop to 26 mpg.
2024 Land Rover Evoque Design
The stylish, compact-sized Evoque switched to the new platform shared with the Range Rover Discovery, Jaguar E-Pace and Land Rover Velar. The new platform makes the second-gen Evoque stiffer and has a positive impact on the model’s ride and handling. The new Evoque is also riding on a longer wheelbase which expands the interior comfort and capacity.
From the visual perspective, the Evoque adopts the styling premiered by the larger Velar model. The newest-iteration Evoque is more stylish and elegant.
The front-end design is defined by the new-version honeycomb grille situated between the thin LED headlights. The front bumper has also more sports flair than before.
The profile of the newest Evoque looks also attractive thanks to the rising character line and floating roof. The stubby rear-end has nice horizontal taillights and roof-mounted spoiler contributes also to the model’s appearance.
The 2024 Land Rover Evoque will again offer various wheel styles ranging from 18- to 21 inches. The new model year should bring a new wheel and color options.
The cockpit of the Evoque is also more modern and comfortable thanks to the recent redesign and there won’t be notable changes until the next refresh. The model will provide at least 10-way power-adjustable front seats and leather upholstery in every version. There will also be up to 50.5 cubic feet for the cargo or 21.5 cubes with the rear seats up.
The base equipment will also be a 10-inch touchscreen, navigation, Apple Car Play and Android Auto compatibility, Wi-Fi hotspot, dual-zone climate control, Terrain response suite, etc
. The upgrades will include the Touch Pro Duo infotainment with pair of 10-inch touchscreens, a panoramic glass roof, heated seats and steering wheel, Meridian sound system, etc
. The model will also employ active safety systems in all versions. There will also be ClearSight Ground View system with cameras on the grille and side mirrors projecting on the infotainment display that is in front and under the vehicle.
