2024 Nissan Titan Engine Options, Configurations, Specs, and Price. When it comes to the full-size class, Nissan is far behind the major players. While the Blue Oval sells nearly 1,000,000 of F-150 model, the Japanese automaker sells around 50,000 Titans. Well, the upcoming changes and updates for the 2024 Nissan Titan could change the picture.
Of course, there are numerous ways how can Nissan improve its full-size truck. One of them is a complete overhaul of the Warrior. Back in the day, Warrior was a futuristic truck, able to compete with the Ford Raptor and Toyota Tundra TRD Pro. The Warrior is old. The updated version could help the Japanese company to establish a recognizable image in the segment.
The XD version could be added to the lineup, with its massive turbodiesel engine. The upcoming truck could include a Nismo version. This is based on the wishes and hopes of the fans, not the official news from Yokohama.
2024 Nissan Titan Engine, Diesel Option
For the entry-level, the forthcoming 2024 Nissan Titan will offer only one engine option. It is a petrol 5.6-liter mill, also known as Endurance. This engine will be available in Titan XD models. The peak output of the petrol unit is 390 hp and 395-lb-ft of torque. The 7-speed automatic transmission shifts power to either a two- or four-wheel-drive system.
Titan’s maximum towing capacity is set to 9,700 lbs. The Japanese automaker terminated a 5.0-liter Cummins turbodiesel unit. We.ll, not really, This unit will just be returned and it will be available again, probably with the 2024MY.
Nissan will add the refined engine to the base model, as well as the XD version. At the moment, the 5.0-liter mill produces 310 hp and 555 lb-ft. That output is good enough to compete with new diesel models like Ford F-150, Ram 1500, etc.
