The 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit is standard and it delivers 252 HP and 273 lb-ft of torque. Macan can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds and the top speed is rated at 142 mph. Fuel economy numbers are solid, 20 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. Macan S models will use a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6. This powertrain can produce 340 HP and 340 lb-ft of twists. Macan S can reach from 0 to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds which is a huge improvement. Top-speed is set at 156 mph, but unfortunately, fuel economy is slightly lower.
2024 Porsche Macan looks better than ever
The all-new 2024 Porsche Macan will arrive with significant exterior updates. The front end is heavily based on the Porsche 911 model. The LED headlights are finished in four-point pattern and are standard on all trim levels. Air intakes are available in a different shape and the center vent now sports horizontal slats. Side vents are slightly longer now, along with the splitter. Generally, the front end now looks both wider and sportier than before. The side profile will remain. 20 and 21-inch wheels are available and Macan offers optional exterior features such as black window trim and carbon-fiber mirror caps.
The rear part adds the four-point taillights and three-dimensional LED strips. Porsche’s lettering is available and most of the styling cues are similar to the 911 and Panamera models. New tailpipe is present and it adds more round outlets on both sides. Porsche is offering four new exterior paints, Mamba Green Metallic, Crayon, Miami Blue and Dolomite Silver Metallic.
2024 Porsche Macan interior will get a larger display
Just like the exterior, the interior of the 2024 Porsche Macan will also get some significant updates. For the start, new infotainment display is in the offer. This display replaces the previous 7-inch unit and is larger by 4-inches. Plenty of new digital functions are installed so 2024 Porsche Macan is now offering voice recognition and navigation systems. The larger display means that the A/C vents are repositioned and are slightly smaller as a result.
New and sporty GT steering wheel are available as standard and it holds new controls. Sports Chrono Package is adding more performance-like features such as traditional Porsche’s analog clock. Some new safety aids are available, such as adaptive cruise control. The new Connect Plus system provides numerous digital functions and important traffic information.
There is 11 interior colors in the new model that includes Agate Gray, Black, Agate Gray/Pebble Gray, Saddle Brown/Luxor Beige, Saddle Brown, Garnet Red/Black, Garnet Red, Rhodium Silver, Espresso, Black/Luxor Beige and the last that is also our favorite Black/Garnet Red.
2024 Porsche Macan GTS and Turbo model
Macan GTS models will use the same drivetrain 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6. Output figures are slightly larger. 360 horses and 370 lb-ft of torque are great improvements, both acceleration and speed are better and the mileage is the same. The Macan Turbo model comes with the 2.9-liter V6 powertrain that generates 400 HP and 406 lb-ft of torque.
With the optional Performance Package, the output figures are raised for about 34 hp and 22 lb-ft of twists. European models will come with the diesel engine, probably with the 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel that returns 211 HP and 428 lb-ft of torque.
Towing capacity
The newest 2024 Porsche Macan is quite simply the most versatile model that includes the capability of being used as a tow vehicle.
