2024 Toyota RAV4 Redesign, Release Date, Price. Toyota’s new, compact crossover SUV, the 2024 Toyota RAV4 brings more rugged styling and Toyota also promises better off-road capability. The torque-vectoring drive system combined with terrain selection system will help achieve that. The model will also deliver great efficiency and also comes in the hybrid form.
Toyota has redesigned its best-seller in the US which follows the trio of top-selling trucks. Toyota sold more than 400, 000 units of the well-balanced RAV4 and hopes that new fifth-generation version will continue the successful path.
The all-new RAV4 also comes on the new modern platform and makes some changes in its proportions. The new technologies are also present as well and the standard safety suite.
2024 TOYOTA RAV4 PERFORMANCE
On the performance front, the new 2024 Toyota RAV4 comes with the base petrol engine and the hybrid option.
The base engine is a 2.5-liter inline-4 with the front-wheel drive and 8-speed automatic gearbox. Toyota hasn’t disclosed the power ratings but leaked details suggest a power boost of 15 percent over the current 176 hp which should translate to around 200 horsepower.
The hybrid setup will use new electric motor setup and continuously variable transmission. Toyota says that RAV4 hybrid will be the highest-performance version and will offer the variant with sportier steering and firmer suspension.
The four-wheel drive system will be available with or without of the torque vectoring and the hybrid version will have the four-wheel traction thanks to the second electric motor. The all-wheel-drive models will also have traction control system operated through the center console-mounted control knob.
2024 TOYOTA RAV4 PLATFORM, DESIGN
The all-new 2024 Toyota RAV4 begins the transformation with brand’s new TNGA modular platform which already underpins the CH-R, Prius, and Auris. The new RAV4 also has a wider stance and shorter overhangs which according to Toyota will boost its off-road talent.

The profile sports subtly sculpted character line and fenders while the rear has more angular design and horizontal taillights.
MORE RUGGED LOOK
From the visual perspective, the new RAV4 wears more rugged exterior. The front section gains new broader grille similar to the design on the 4Runner and Tacoma pickup truck.
Toyota said that standard version will be available in five trims while the hybridized version will come in four. What Toyota offers on all models is standard active safety suite which includes emergency braking, lane control, adaptive cruise control.
INTERIOR, EQUIPMENT
Inside the cabin, the new RAV4 goes with the symmetrical dash design and the center screen sitting high on it. Bellow the center screen are air vents and even lower are climate controls.
Toyota also brings the Adventure version with unique front sections, contracting roof color, 19-inch alloys, black exterior and orange interior accents.

2024 TOYOTA RAV4 RELEASE DATE, PRICE
The new 2024 Toyota RAV4 will have the late-in-the-year sale date while the hybrid version will wait for the early next year launch. The price will appear closer to the sale date but it won’t go high above the current starting price of $25, 500.
