2024 Cadillac XT5 Release Date, Redesign, Specs, and Colors. Cadillac has been busy with launching the new and redesigned models with the emphasis on the SUV type versions. The brand has the plan to deliver the new or refreshed models through 2024. The small XT4 crossover SUV arrived as the 2025 model and the all-new is also a three-row 2024 XT6 model. The largest SUV in brand’s range, the Cadillac Escalade should also debut in the redesigned form and the new CT4 and CT5 sedans are also the part of the plan. The brand promises also the new electric crossover. The brand’s successful, mid-size XT5 crossover will also get some attention and the refreshed version will hit the market as the 2024 Cadillac XT5
Cadillac hasn’t yet revealed the changes and specs of the refreshed XT5 but leaked details reveal modest styling changes. The model should also come with the upgraded tech and safety range and could also bring the turbocharged inline-4 option.
2024 CADILLAC XT5 POWERTRAINS
As for the powertrain options, the 2024 Cadillac XT5 will surely repeat the currently only available 3.6-liter V-6 engine. This unit is also under the hood of the new XT6 and makes 310 hp and torque of 271 pound-feet.
The reports suggest, however, the introduction of the GM’s new 9-speed automatic transmission. The big update could also be an addition of the 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine which is available in other markets. The version of the engine in China makes 258 hp where the brand offers also the mild-hybrid system but no information appeared suggesting this possibility for the US market.

The luxury XT5 crossover SUV based on GM’s C1XX platform debuted for the 2017 model year and replaced the old-nomenclature Cadillac SRX. For the fourth model year after the current generation launch, the XT5 model will get the mid-cycle update and available details suggest usual styling updates of one mid-update.
The 2024 Cadillac XT5 will switch from the current grille design to the new style inspired by the 2025 Escala Concept. The new grille should provide a more elegant style while it seems that the model will keep the same headlights design. The shape and size of the model will also keep the current form and the profile will also look familiar.
The rear will also display a new signature of tealights while the rest should keep the same style and contours.
INTERIOR, EQUIPMENT
Inside the cabin, the refreshed XT5 should also adopt some styling cues of the newest SUVs in the range and upgrade tech and safety equipment.
A well-equipped from the base version, the XT5 will provide features like the dual zone climate control, keyless ignition and entry, power front seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, etc. The leather upholstery and heated front seats will be available one step higher than the base trim.
The model will also include the latest infotainment system and should also provide more safety systems available across the range. The mid-update could also bring the Super Cruise partial self-driving tech.
