2024 Lincoln Aviator Price, Interior, Engine, Release Date. The Lincoln Company has revealed the concept model of its luxury SUV called Aviator at the 2025 New York Auto Show. The production version is almost identical to the concept and it should enter the showroom next year as the 2024 Lincoln Aviator.
Like we have previously mentioned, the upcoming Aviator will look pretty much the same as the concept model. The cabin of the new Aviator will be able to welcome up to seven passengers. In the terms of safety, the new Lincoln will offer many standard features.
2024 Lincoln Aviator News
Making its official debut at the 2025 New York Auto Show is the all-new Lincoln Aviator. Officially billed as a “tease” of the production version, this luxury SUV will reach showrooms in 2025. Slotting in between the soon-to-be-launched Nautilus and the gargantuan Navigator in the Lincoln lineup, it will rival the Audi Q7 and the Land Rover Discovery, among others.
The Aviator will effectively replace the MKT, but it’s a mark of how far Lincoln has come in recent times that its executives are keen to avoid any association with its unloved forebear. The dramatic front grille is a new Lincoln signature and so is the horizontal red lighting strip across the rear– a visual motif also now employed by Porsche.
2024 Lincoln Aviator Powertrain
The all-new 2024 Lincoln Aviator is expected to arrive with a twin-turbo engine which should be able to deliver up to 350 horsepower. It will ride on the new platform which also underpins the newest Ford Explorer. The Aviator will come standard with a rear-wheel drive configuration.
As for motivation, the Aviator is powered by a twin-turbo engine. We have yet to get exact specs on this, but we do know that, for the first time, Lincoln will be offering the Aviator as a plug-in hybrid model.
” This combination of power and electrified capability will help Aviator deliver Lincoln’s quietest, smoothest, most powerful drive yet,” the automaker claims.
And while Lincoln says that the hybridized powertrain makes the Aviator “mightier than many supercars on the road today,” don’t expect this thing to be all that quick. We’re expecting a sprint to 60 mph in about 7 seconds, possibly even breaking into the high sixes, with the previous first-gen completing the benchmark in about 7.6 seconds. Around 350 horsepower feels about.
Then, although it probably won’t be all that quick, the hybrid powertrain is definitely the way to go. While operating on battery power alone, the Aviator won’t succumb to the noise and vibration of a standard ICE powertrain, which obviously makes a lot of sense for a luxury automaker looking to offer a refined driving experience. A selection of driving modes is offered to refine the experience even further.
2024 Lincoln Aviator Exterior and Interior Design
The 2024 Lincoln Aviator will be based on the concept model which has recently been presented in New York. It will feature a clean and simple design and will borrow some design cues from the Navigator model.

The interior of the 2024 Lincoln Aviator will be spacious and able to carry up to seven passengers in three rows of seats. The cabin will also feature horizontal and clean lines also and it will get aluminum and brushed metal details. The Lincoln’s Co-Pilot 360 system will also be included among standard equipment.
Like Volvo, Lincoln is determined to step away from the sporty pretensions of its German rivals– not every mom needs to feel like she’s racing to soccer practice. It’s a world away from plasticky Lincolns of old, and there’s some neat detailing, such as the Lincoln-Way app that allows you to start and stop the car using your cell phone– you can ditch the traditional key.

The Aviator will be offered as either a six-passenger with two individual chairs in the middle row or as a seven-passenger with a middle bench. Lincoln claims a 6-foot adult can fit in the third row but don’t expect that person to be too comfortable in the seven-seater mode, which also makes luggage space minimal.
2024 Lincoln Aviator Release date and price
The 2024 Lincoln Aviator should arrive sometime during next year. The pricing is not yet known, but we estimate that it might be around $55,000.
Competition
Say hello to the Audi Q7, which comes stuffed with tech to rival the Lincoln, including all-digital instrumentation, optional 10.1-inch entertainment tablets in the rear, and support for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Power is provided by a turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder making 252 horses in the base model, but higher in the range there’s a supercharged 333-horsepower 3.0-liter V-6.
