2024 Toyota 4Runner Concept, Sy Photos, Redesign, TRD Pro. Toyota hasn’t said, on the other hand, what the rest of the lineup will benefit from. Based on what we know so far, we should expect upgraded infotainment system, new materials, and options. The engine will be familiar while more substantial upgrades will appear in first years of the next decade.
The Toyota 4Runner is one of few SUVs remaining with the traditional body-on-frame design. The engine remains but Toyota brings upgraded suspension components.
2024 TOYOTA 4RUNNER PERFORMANCE
On the performance front, the 2024 Toyota 4Runner will continue relying on the 4.0-liter V-6 engine. The transmission system also remains a five-gear automatic. The engine produces 270 hp at 5, 600 rpm and max torque of 278 pound-feet at 4, 400 rpm.
The rear-wheel drive is available but the old-school four-wheel drive seems the only adequate for this machine. There is also an electronic locking rear differential but the multi-terrain select system, crawl control.
For the 2024 model year, the TRD Pro version upgrades with the 2.5-inch aluminum-bodied, internal bypass Fox shocks. The TRD tuned coil springs underpin all four corners but the front adds an inch of lift.
The 4Runner can tow up to 5, 000 pounds. The engine exploits variable valve timing but the fuel efficiency isn’t the strong side. Expect the current 18 mpg combined.
2024 TOYOTA 4RUNNER DESIGN
The 2024 Toyota 4Runner won’t change much of its brutish look. The new TRD Pro comes with unique black grille with TOYOTA block stamping like its predecessor. The most notable difference will be the new roof rack on the TRD Pro model.
Other versions should also adopt new fog lights and add some new details but nothing too much.

INTERIOR, EQUIPMENT
Interior of the 4Runnder will also be a familiar story. The TRD Pro version improves with the updated infotainment system, standard JBL sound system, 
and navigation. This version also has Softex seat covers, red contrast stitching and TRD logos on several places.
The 4Runner can seat five persons in two-row arrangement and still offer 47.2 cubes of the cargo room. The model has well-arranged controls and will also offer heated and ventilated seats, leather upholstery, a sunroof, parking sensors, but we will see also some advanced tech.

2024 TOYOTA 4RUNNER RELEASE AND PRICE
The 2024 Toyota 4Runner with upgraded TRD Pro version will arrive this fall. The serious off-roading with this vehicle will again be possible from about $35, 000.
