2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Redesign: What We Know So Far. The current generation of the iconic off-roader has been around for too long and we are eagerly waiting to see some changes. The Japanese manufacturer shares our opinion and already works on the next generation of this legend, which is about to come as 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser. At this point, we don’t know too many details about the new model, but the thing we know is that the new generation will have a premiere this August.
In terms of design characteristics, we have no doubt that the company will continue the evolution of this legend. We don’t expect radical solutions when it comes to the overall design, but we definitely expect to see significant novelties in certain aspects, particularly under the hood. The 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser is about to come with a hybrid powertrain, which should significantly improve currently pretty low mpg ratings.

Most likely, the specs will be different for the North American model compared to the rest of the world. Still, we have to say that the North American version is still under question. If it arrives, we have no doubt it will feature the same system that the company prepares for the new Tundra, which means a V6-based setup, similar to the Lexus LS 500h. This means that the max output will probably go around 450 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque.
On the other side, international models will probably feature lower output. Some sources suggest around 350 horses, while there are also reports that suggest 300 horsepower. In our opinion, the latter will probably be reserved for the downsized Land Cruiser Prado, though it may come as an alternative to the current V8 turbodiesel. We are pretty sure that the new hybrid won’t be the only powertrain option in the offer, and that some of the conventional options will also remain.

Interior
This is where we expect to see big improvements. As we’ve just mentioned, the new model is expected to be bigger. This includes a longer wheelbase, so we expect that the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser will offer more space on the inside. This is particularly important for the third row, which is currently pretty tight. The cargo area should be bigger and more functional.
Of course, we also count on a completely new dashboard layout. The current model features impressive build quality, but aesthetics definitely aren’t something you would like to see in the year of 2024. The new model should come with significant improvements in terms of aesthetics.
We also count on the implementation of new tech goodies. Of all, this model desperately needs a new, much better infotainment system. Better graphics, more features and smartphone integration are what we expect to see. We presume that the new model will also come with a full load of standard equipment already in base versions.

According to the latest reports, the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser will have a premiere this August. On the other side, we can’t say anything more precise in terms of the launch date and sales. It’s hard to talk about the price, especially if we consider that new powertrain options are expected. The current model goes around 85.000 dollars.
