2025 BMW X4 M40i Review, Release Date, Price, Interior. The model has the coupe-like profile and more aggressive bodywork than the X3 but models share overall dimensions and drivetrains. The model debuted for 2014 model year and the 2017 version traded the xDrive35i version for the more potent M40i model. The 2025 version comes unchanged and the 2025 BMW X4 M40i continues also in the same form to its second model year.

2025 BMW X4 M40I: PERFORMANCE
Under the hood of the 2025 BMW X4 M40i, sits a 3.0-liter turbocharged V-6 engine. This engine powers this model with 355 hp and 343 lb-ft of torque. The all-wheel drive is standard and works in the combination with the 8-speed automatic transmission.
Thanks to the V-6 engine and other performance upgrades, the M40i can hit 60 mph in just 4.7 seconds. EPA estimates the fuel economy at 19 mpg city, 26 mpg highway and 21 mpg combined.
2025 BMW X4 M40I: STYLING
BMW uses the tested and proven recipe of the bigger X6 and with the coupe-like profile gets better visual interest but loses some of the functionality. The model features defined character line and the rear roofline section slopes faster than on its derivative X3 model.
The front of the model bears BMW’s familiar theme with kidney grille and accentuated headlights. The rear has steeply slanted rear glass and sculpted tailgate combined with the sleek rear bumper.
The 2025 BMW X4 M40i adds to that with the sportier bumpers and exterior accents. The 20-inch wheels also come in the combination with the sportier underpinning, quicker steering and special exhaust system.
INTERIOR, FEATURES:
Inside the model features top-quality materials and finishes like all BMW models while the interior is similar to the X3. The front seat comfort is great while the sloping roofline reduces rear comfort. The M Sport package brings to this model more supportive sports seats and sports steering wheel.

The M40i also adds keyless entry and ignition, premium Harman Kardon sound system, unique exterior and interior touches, etc. The latest infotainment system is also part of this model.

BMW’s sports activity coupe version, the 2025 BMW X4 M40i will cost from $60, 250. The redesigned X4 is already on the way and it should arrive in mid-2025 as the 2025 version.
